Traphaco makes "hattrick" at 2016 Annual Report Awards

In the afternoon of July 25, 2017, the award ceremony of the 10^th Annual Report Awards was held in Ho Chi Minh City by the Investment Review Newspaper, Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

Passing 600 reports of listed companies in Vietnam, Traphaco's 2016 Annual Report is the only one that won the awards for all three categories of the 10^th Best Annual Report selection with the criteria "Standard - Transparency - Professional - Creative - Sustainable Development”.

Particularly, Traphaco ranked fifth for the Top 10 Annual Reports. It was also in the Top 3 for the annual report with the best corporate governance content and Top 5 reports with the best content on sustainable development.

The judging council praised Traphaco’s report for the outstanding quality, which looked impressive right from the cover and the design with the green color representing the message of green health path - the sustainable development strategy that Traphaco has pursued for a long time.

Traphaco's annual report can be compared to an artwork. The creativity is evident as this is the first year that Traphaco's integrated annual report used international standards in compiling the content - (GRI, OECD, ACMF, ...)

This "Hat-trick" for Traphaco is a reward not only for the efforts of the report compiling team but also a recognition for the efforts of the whole system during the past 45 years - for health beliefs. Traphaco has more confidence to firmly step on the path of green health, to become the number one firm in the pharmaceutical industry of Vietnam in terms of growth of revenue, profit and market capitalization.

The new features of this year's selection: From the preliminary round, the reports were checked by the four leading audit firms - Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in order to ensure accurateness, objectiveness and professionalism in the selection of the reports to the final round.

The Corporate Governance Category: the First, Second and Third Prizes were presented to the Annual Reports with the Best Content on Corporate Governance. The five winners of the Sustainable Development Report Award was chosen independently by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Association of British Certified Public Accountants (ACCA).
