Traphaco among Top 10 Prestigious Pharmaceutical Company of Vietnam 2016

On January 19^th 2017 Vietnam Report in coordination with VietNamNet online newspaper of the Ministry of Information and Communications announced the VNR 500 - Top 500 enterprises in Vietnam and the Top 10 Reputed Pharmaceutical Companies of Vietnam in 2016, which aims to honor the prestigious pharmaceutical companies, strengthen competitiveness, and help consumers have a thorough and objective perspective about pharmaceutical firms in Vietnam.

The survey with pharmaceutical companies made in October 2016 on the results of production and business activities, revenue and profit growth, capacity self-assessment in 2016 ... was considered an additional factor to determine pharmaceutical companies’ position in the pharmaceutical industry. Accordingly, all companies named in this list have a stable financial capacity, experience and growth potential, and they are also highly appreciated for the quality of pharmaceutical products and distribution services in 2015-2016.According to Vietnam Report’s latest rankings, Traphaco took the lead among the top ten prestigious pharmaceutical companies of Vietnam in 2016. The ranking was made based on scientific and objective principles, specifically the three following criteria: financial capacity shown on the audited financial statements of the latest year (total revenue, after tax profit...) (accounting for 35% of the total score); Media credibility which is evaluated by the Media Coding method - coding articles about Vietnamese pharmaceutical companies on the media (30% of the total score); and the survey with pharmacists and pharmacies on the quality and the distribution of medicine (35% of the total score).

In terms of media criterion, the results of data coding of articles about pharmaceutical firms of Vietnam on the top 5 newspapers as Health and Life, Public Health, Vnexpress, VietnamNet and Vnplus during the period from January 2015 through October 2016 indicates that Traphaco and Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Company are the two pharmaceutical firms that were mentioned the most, with the highest rate of positive information.

This title confirms Traphaco’s position, the trust of customers on its products and it is also the motive-force for Traphaco to develop and improve the quality of products and services in order to contribute to make a better life for Vietnamese people.
