Summary Conference on cooperation in scientific research and product development of Traphaco - Hanoi University of Pharmacy

On the afternoon of July 17^th, 2020, a ceremony to summarize the cooperation in scientific research and product development took place between Traphaco Joint Stock Company and Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai - Vice Rector; MSc. Pham Van Quyen - Vice Rector, and experts participating in the research team. On the side of Traphaco JSC, there were MSc. Tran Tuc Ma - General Director, PhD. Nguyen Huy Van - Deputy General Director of the Company with representatives from the Research and Development Department, Quality Control Department, Marketing Department attended.

Since the beginning of 2018, Hanoi University of Pharmacy and Traphaco Joint Stock Company exchanged projects that could cooperate in researching and developing a protocol to come to a cooperation agreement focusing on 5 areas: Manufacturing - Pharmaceutical industry; Standards - Testing and developing medicinal herbs; Pharmacological and Education. MSc. Tran Tuc Ma - General Director of Traphaco JSC affirmed that Traphaco is the leading pharmaceutical company in Vietnam, so development strategies need to invest in science and technology development. Traphaco has invested in many good factories and distribution systems with modern facilities, machinery and equipment to conduct research. Traphaco wishes to cooperate in scientific research and product development, especially when Hanoi University of Pharmacy was a learning and training university for many Traphaco staffs. This cooperation is the premise for larger-scale cooperation between Traphaco and Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

On the basis of the signing of a cooperation agreement, from October 31^st, 2018 up to now, 03 scientific research contracts on standards of medicinal herbs and medicinal herbs have been implemented; Pharmacological effects; process of manufacturing and evaluating the bioequivalence of new products.

The summary conference has received many constructive comments from experts. According to PHD. Nguyen Huy Van - Deputy General Director of the Company, basically the topics have met the set requirements and in accordance with the prescribed time. In conclusion, MSc. Tran Tuc Ma - General Director of the Company highly appreciated the cooperation between the two sides. Hopefully in the coming time, the cooperation programs between Hanoi University of Pharmacy and Traphaco will push to higher levels not only research on medicinal herbs but also research on modern medicines, marketing, and distributing products, scientific research projects to meet market requirements as well as the process of cooperation between the two sides are increasingly sustainable and effective.
