Forbes Vietnam has officially announced the list of the 50 Most Influential Women in Vietnam 2017, honoring 50 women who took a prominent role in their fields, including politics, business, social and charitable activities, science - education, entertainment, arts and sports.

Forbes Vietnam said in the political sphere, although women’s participation is much lower than men's, many women held positions of great influence. In business, there are more prominent women, with up to 20 people, and their influence can be clearly seen from the leading position of the companies they led. In the field of social work, science, education, women are also pioneers in meaningful activities, from charity work to the activities to protect the rights of vulnerable people, children and women, and education of children. The field of media - entertainment also has many outstanding characters who are women.

Thanks to the significant progress made on the issue of gender equality in recent years in Vietnam, many women have been promoting their capabilities in various areas in the society, and they have become the force that creates positive influence poles to all aspects of life. The common thing of the influential women is the strength, endurance that help them rise and success in their fields.

"In women's issues, the numbers do not tell lie and they show that Vietnamese women, in the environment that is said to be progressive on the issue of women, still face inequality in many areas and lack of personal development opportunities.
