Traphaco’s excellent contribution to the development of Hanoi Capital

On the morning of October 9th, 2018, at the Friendship Cultural Palace of Viet Xo, Hanoi Party Committee -  Hanoi People's Council - Hanoi People's Committee - the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi solemnly organized the "Good person, good deeds and outstanding enterprises, businessmen and honored citizens of the Capital City of 2018". Traphaco Joint Stock Company is honored to be one of 20 companies awarded the Thang Long Cup, an award for enterprises who have greatly contributed to the development and integration of Hanoi Capital.

Attending the ceremony there were Mr. Vo Van Thuong, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Commission for Propaganda and Training; Mr. Hoang Trung Hai, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly of Hanoi; the delegates who are members of the Central Council for Emulation and Commendation, representatives of the ministries, committees, branches, departments of central committees, office of the President of SRV, the Office of the Government, the Emulation and Commendation Central Department ... together with head  of departments, committees, unions, and head of 30 districts, towns and communes of the Capital. Particularly, there were delegates from the Capital’s Excellent Citizens, leading figures, exemplary good persons - good deeds in 2018; outstanding enterprises and businessmen as well as 38 athletes, coaches with high achievements in ASIAD 18.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Suu, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee  said: The commendation ceremony is an opportunity for Hanoi to acknowledge the efforts and willingness of all levels, sectors, enterprises and people of the Capital, and to praise and congratulate nearly 700 individuals with good deeds; and 300 enterprises, businessmen are rewarded by the State and City; particularly, 10 individuals who have won the title "Excellent Capital Citizens" and 20 enterprises have won the Thang Long Cup. To spread the movement "Good persons, good deeds" from now to 2019 and implement it as a culture of each group, unit, locality, Comrade Nguyen Van Suu has proposed every echelon of Party committees, authorities, departments, unions and people of the Capital continue to strengthen and raise the awareness of the role and meaning of the movement. In particular, to focus on renewing the content and form of the movement "Good persons, Good deeds" associated with studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, moral and style; to ensure following the central political task requirements of the City, localities and units; to strengthen the movement of "Capital Enterprises Integration and Development" in association with the effective implementation of the City's programs and action plans on socio-economic development, improvement of the investment and business environment, and  the competitiveness index.

Traphaco is known as the second largest listed pharmaceutical company in terms of revenue and profit, distribution network nationwide with 24 branches, 01 distribution subsidiary and 27,000 retail clients. Every year, the company contributes billions of VND to the state budget. Traphaco’s budget for community activities each year has accounted for 1-3% revenue. Of which, the public health care consultancy activities have been particularly focused. In addition, Traphaco has actively contributed to humanitarian, charitable, and benevolent activities with the desire to contribute to a happier and better quality of life. Social charitable activities are frequent, indispensable events, and they are received enthusiastic response from leaders to employees. The prize is an encouragement for the Company to contribute to the development of the Capital in particular and the country in general.
