Each capsule contains:

Piracetam ..... 400 mg

Excipients ... q.s ... 1 capsule

- Elderly suffering from loss of memory, vertigo, a lack of concentration or of alertness, changes of mood, a deterioration in behaviour and personal negligence, dementia produced by multiple cerebral infarcts.

Sickle – cell anaemia. As a 5 – day treatment for chronic alcoholism. It will also prove beneficial in withdrawal therapy.

Coma, and also in the treatment of cognitive deficit as a result of head injury, whether or not this is associated with vertigo.

Stroke. This indication is supported by the results of a controlled clinical study over a 30 – day observation period, demonstrating improvement of certain aspects of the patient’s behaviour.

- Used as an adjunct in the treatment of corticocerebral myoclonia.

- Children with learning difficulties associated with the written word, particularly with textual understanding which can not be explained by intellectual backwardness, inadequate education or by the family environment. The administration of piracetam does not in any way replace other measures particularly adapted to correct these learning difflculties, eg remedial teaching.

* Adul: 2 capsules each time, 3 times daily.

* Children: 1 capsule per 10 kg weight per day.

- Hypersensitivity to any ingredients of this medicine.

- In patients with severe renal insufficiency.
