TRAPHACO receives Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2009 for Enterprises
In the morning of 16/01/2010, in HaNoi, “the Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2009 for Enterprises” was held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in cooperation with different local and international ministries and agencies. The objective of the awards are to recognize and honor businesses who continuously contribute to the humane development and growth where human values, social progress as well as environmental protection issues are given top priority. After nearly one year of selecting and assessing, 47 enterprises have been selected by the organizing committee to be given prizes regarding two aspects of labor and environment. It is the honor of TRAPHACO Joint Stock Company to receive the award for good performance of social responsibility in environmental protection.
Pharmaceutical enterprises in general and TRAPHACO in particular always pay high attention to the two benefits concerning the business and society. Without business benefits, enterprises will not be considered as enterprises and there is nothing for them to develop and invest. Secondly, the enterprise should also focus on the social benefits which means to produce good products for the society as the products will bring direct effect on the health of people.
Together with business and production activity and scientific researches, the Company always attaches special importance to the exploitation and conservation of available natural resources. TRAPHACO always brings a safety working environment for the laborers at the same time purchases and exploits raw material without affecting the surrounding environment. Every year in spring, the Company often mobilize all the staffs and workers to follow the movement of planting trees as initiated by Uncle Ho. A big budget has been allocated by the company for the activity of cooperating with local people in planting and regenerating medicinal herbs forest. In the factories, the workers and staff always follow the regulations as set out by the Ministry of Health such as ensuring regulated temperature, keeping environmental hygiene, keeping working place clean and applying 5S system of Japan. Before staring the operation in the workshop, the workers all have to go through a strictly checking process following the environmental management standard ISO 14001- 2004 such as changing clothes, wearing masks and washing hands.
The Corporate Social Responsibility award on environment once again acknowledges the contributions of TRAPHACO to environmental protection work during the past years.
