Traphaco received the best annual report award 2011
2011 is the very first year that Traphaco takes part in the annual report competition for firms which are posted on stock and honorably stays in the list of the best annual reports. The ceremony takes place on July 5th, 2011 at New World Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
The organization board has considered 640 annual reports of firms that are posted on the HCMC and Hanoi stock exchanges. 90 of them were selected into the final round. In the final round, the jury council marked openly based on 4 big criteria. First, the comprehensive evaluation of content (company’s summary, targets, strategies, administrative situation…). Secondly, the comprehensive evaluation of form (impression and level of creativeness, cover design ability, information transmission). Thirdly, the quality evaluation of financial information (financial situation, profitability, payability, capital structure, capital management, cash flow management, dividend policy). Fourthly, the quality evaluation of risk management information (financial, market risk management, risk quantum and solutions…).
Finally, 31 reports graded 58/100 and above, were chosen to be awarded officially by the Jury and Organization boards in the Ceremony this year. Besides, 6 annual reports that have close grades will receive consolation prizes for encouragement. In 2010-2011, most firms have been faced with more difficulties that led to a decrease in productivity and sales, even suffered loss. However, responsibility and explicitness of firms are still expressed in their annual reports.
The annual report selection was established in 2008 by HCMC stock exchange and Investment News in co-ordination with Hanoi Stoc exchange and the exclusive sponsor, Dragon Capital. Target of the selection is to encourage, honour the explicitness on the stock market.
Traphaco joint-stock company with TRA stock code has officially traded on HOSE stock since November, 26th, 2008 and been the code that drew much attraction from domestic and especially foreign investors. The best annual report prize is the acknowledgement and appreciation of firm’s explicitness from Organization board and the Vietnam stock market management organization. The ceremony is a great occation for businesses to meet up and exchange.
