TRAPHACO - Looking back 10 years of development
In the morning of 14/01/2010 in the Ha Noi Big Theatre, TRAPHACO has organized the ceremony to celebrate 10 years (1999 - 2009) of equitization. Participating in the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Hong Truong - Vice Minister of Ministry of Transportation, Mr. Ngo Van Lai - Deputy head of the Central Committee for Emulation and Commendation, Mr. Do Trung Ta - chairman of the National Council for Science and Technology Policy and representatives of different departments and agencies, hospitals, health centres, enterprises, social organizations as well as all the staffs and workers of the Company.
This is the occasion for the company to look back the development achievements as well as to share the successful experience that have been obtained. The event not only attracts the attentions of the public and enterprises but also is considered as an interesting topic on equitization for different economic managers and government policy makers.
As the first Vietnamese enterprise that undertook equitization (in 1999) following the policy of the government and party, TRAPHACO has succeeded and become a leading pharmaceutical trademark in the pharmaceutical sector of Vietnam.
Being established in the early years of Decade 70 (1972), TRAPHACO has experienced a period of 37 years of establishment and development which showed the advantages as well as the disadvantages and challanges that the company had to face with. However, with the strategic vision and concrete plan to respond to the practical needs of people for medicines, TRAPHACO has not only fulfilled well the social tasks but step by step developed and become stronger with the average annual growth rate of 25-30%. In the financial year 2009, TRAPHACO has reached the turnover of nearly VND 800 billion. TRAPHACO products have gained reputation overall Vietnam and gradually penetrated into international markets.
In November 2008, TRAPHACO’s share with TRA code was officially listed in Ho Chi Minh Securities which is seen as an indispensable action of a big enterprise. Financial Transparency and disclosure will help the enterprise to develop towards globalization.
The success of TRAPHACO is seen as an evidence for the policy of the Government and Party on equitization following the socialist direction of rich people, strong nation, and an equal, democratic and civilized society and on developing the market economy to progressively integrate into the world economy.
It is the honor of TRAPHACO to receive following Certificates of merit and awards from the Government and other related ministries and agencies:
- Third- class Labour Medal given by the President in 2002.
- International Award on Scientific Research KOVALEVSKAIA in 2004.
- Best emulation Flag given by the Government in 2005.
- Certificate of merit given by the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union in 2005.
- Second-class Labor Medal given by the President in 2007.
- Third-class Labor Medal for the Company Trade Union in 2007.
- Certificate of merit given by the Government in 2008 to two collectives of Trading Department and Administrative Department.
- Emulation Flag given by the Government in 2009 (Achievement: leading enterprise in emulation movement in 2008).
- “Most Famous Trademark in the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Sector 2009” (implemented and announced by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with Nielsen Marketing Research Company).
- Vietnam Gold Star Awards (continuously from 2003 to 2009) (Top 100 enterprises in Vietnam Gold Star Awards 2008 and 2009).
- “Vietnam High quality products” in continuous 12 years, selected by the consumers (from 1997 to 2009).
- Title “Top 100 Vietnam high quality products”
