Traphaco wins Vietnam Top Trade Service 2016 Award

The Vietnam Top Trade Service 2016 Award Ceremony took place at the International Convention Center, 11 Le Hong Phong Street, Hanoi, on the morning of April 22, 2017. Excellently satisfying the criteria of the prize, with the strongest distribution system in the pharmaceutical industry, Traphaco was named among the top ten prize winners.

This is the seventh year the Industry and Trade Newspaper organized this award to encourage and honor businesses operating in the 11 trade and service sectors, which Vietnam committed to open when it joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2007, including: environmental services; distribution services; financial services; construction services; information service; general business services; travel services; transport services; health-social services; educational services and cultural - entertainment services.

The award ceremony was held in coincidence with the 10th anniversary of Vietnam's 150th membership of the WTO (2007-2017). Mr. Nguyen Huu Quy, Deputy Head of the Organizing Board, said that the Vietnam Top Trade Service Award aims at the businesses operating in the trade and service field, particularly those involving in distribution, retail, import-export, finance, banking and pharmaceutical services.

Along with the presence of large enterprises, which own strong brands in the trade and services sector, the Vietnam Top Trade Service Award 2016 is more special thanks to the participation of the enterprises nominated by the authorities of provinces and cities in the Northwestern region and the Mekong Delta... Business, trade and services activities of these firms have an important influence and contribution to the local economies as well as the overall development of the economy.

Among the 103 enterprises that were presented with the Vietnam Top Trade Service Award 2016, the top 10 firms include the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Home Credit Vietnam Limited, Doji Gem and Jewelry Group, Vingroup Corporation, Vietnam Animal Husbandry Joint Stock Company, Traphaco Joint Stock Company, HCM City Book Distribution Company (FAHASA), Saigon Co.op, Hanoi Beer Alcohol Beverage Corporation (Habeco), and Intimex Group JSC.

This award is a motivation and encouragement for Traphaco's employees in their path of 45 years contributing to the career of public healthcare. For the past 45 years, many generations of Traphaco employees have shared their beliefs and devotion to public health. Traphaco has also gained outstanding core values, become the pioneer in the green value chain management, in the application of new technology and knowledge, creating products and services of perfect quality of Traphaco knowledge; giving high commitment to society, shareholders, customers, partners and employees on the principle of joint-benefit.

One of the important contents at the Traphaco Shareholders’ Meeting 2017 is that the Management Board submitted the development strategy for the period 2017-2020, which clearly expressed the ambition of turning Traphaco into the No. 1 pharmaceutical company in Vietnam in terms of revenue growth, profitability and market capitalization by 2020.

This is the first time that Traphaco has developed a strategy for development with clear goals and roadmaps. In particular, it sets the target to 2020 with the market capitalization of VND10 trillion, total revenue of VND4 trillion, and total profit of VND500 billion. In addition, Traphaco's technology and management system will be the most modern in the Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry and the working environment at Traphaco will be the best in the country.
